The Winter Amenity Nobody Else Has

The Spa Hits Different in the Snow

A wood-fired cedar sauna at –20°C. Steam rising off the hillbilly hot tub. A cold plunge that needs no ice machine. Private spa hours run all winter — included free for monthly winter guests and glamping stays, $40/hour for nightly visitors — and winter is when it's at its absolute best.

Who Winters Here

Crews, Snowbirds & Winter People

Project crews working central Alberta through the cold months, snowbirds staying north this year, folks between homes, and full-time RVers who refuse to store the rig. If you can live in it, you can winter in it here.

Winter Questions

Can you really live in an RV through an Alberta winter?

Yes — with a winterized site it's done here every year. Heated water access, 50-amp power for heat, skirting on your unit, and heated facilities make an Alberta winter very livable.

What does winter RV camping cost at Prairie Junction?

New long-term and worker bookings from November 1 to March 31 are $900/month plus power by usage. The standard long-term rate is $1,400/month.

Is water available at my site all winter?

Yes — winterized sites have heated water hose access, so you have running water even in deep cold.

Do I need to skirt my RV?

We strongly recommend skirting for heat retention and pipe protection. Call us and we'll walk you through winter setup.
